Tara is dedicated to supporting the work of Pathways Trust, through fundraising, marketing and all operations. Having overcome previous health conditions, she deeply understands the importance of complementary health therapies. Tara enjoys working with people who share similar values, and is inspired by the manifestation of the Pathways Trust vision.
Tara has spear-headed a partnership with Mind, the mental health charity, who are bringing our acupressure services online to reach those suffering from mental health problems. She has established an online mindfulness meditation course to help us all improve our mental health and wellbeing. She strategizes and actions our social media and web updates. She is spearheading a refurbishment project of our premises. She has registered Pathways with Gift Aid, and written up lots of important documents and policies for the charity. She has HR, fundraising and communications responsibilities. She enjoys working closely with the finance manager, all the trustees and practitioners.
In the future she hopes to collaborate with other local charities who are working with asylum seekers, refugees, people experiencing homelessness and women in need. We plan to offer free complementary health therapies to those who would usually face barriers. Tara’s role is vital to our day to day operations and she is also hoping to expand her work to allow us to offer more free and reduced fee appointments.
